■Espansione FF has broken the conventional wisdom of hot melt type nonwoven fabrics.
Espansione has a reputation as a polyurethane nonwoven fabric with excellent functionality. KB Seiren has further developed this Espansione technology and developed Espansione FF, an adhesive urethane nonwoven fabric. It uses environmentally friendly solvent-free hot melt, so it has excellent work efficiency. In addition, it has many properties such as maintaining elasticity even after bonding, so it can meet a wide range of needs.
■Adheres just by applying heat
Simply place it between the materials to be bonded and heat and press with a heat press or iron, and the hot melt resin will work to firmly bond the materials together. It does not require drying time, is easy to work with, and is hygienic. Additionally, it has superior flexibility and breathability compared to film types.
■Maintains elasticity and breathability even after adhesion
Espansione FF was developed by applying Espansione's manufacturing technology. It bonds materials together while taking advantage of Espansione's properties such as stretch, breathability, and moisture permeability, and maintains its functionality even after bonding.
■Excellent light resistance
By modifying Espansione's polymer and improving the production process, we have achieved top-class light resistance. There is almost no yellowing caused by sunlight. In addition, it does not deteriorate due to sweat, has excellent washability and dry cleaning properties, and does not impair functions such as elasticity.
■Compatible with a wide variety of materials
Conventional adhesives using hot-melt non-woven fabrics are limited to the materials that can be bonded. In contrast, Espansione FF, which uses urethane nonwoven fabric developed using proprietary technology, exhibits adhesive properties on a wide range of materials, including natural fibers, synthetic fibers, various synthetic resins, wood, paper, and artificial leather. It is also possible to bond different materials together, such as waterproof and breathable sheets and interwoven fabrics.
