About This Product

■Urethane nonwoven fabric

Espansione is a melt-blown nonwoven fabric made from thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer developed using KB Seiren's proprietary technology. Espansione has a structure in which thin continuous filaments made of 100% polyurethane elastic fibers are randomly laminated, so in addition to the breathability and handling properties of conventional spunbond, it also has high elasticity (approximately 400%). It has many excellent features such as flexibility and flexibility. Espansione is a material that is expected to have the potential for a variety of uses by taking advantage of its properties. Features

■High elongation

The high elongation (approximately 400%) unique to polyurethane elastic fibers can be achieved in all 360 degrees.

■High recovery rate

Shows elongation recovery equal to or better than that of polyurethane elastic fiber knitted fabrics.

■Flexibility

Extremely flexible as it is made of 100% polyurethane elastic fiber.

■Air permeability

It has a structure in which thin filaments are laminated and joined only at their intersections, so it has excellent breathability and water permeability.

■Dust collection property

The densely layered fibers prevent the passage of minute dust.

■Shelled fibers

Due to the structure of continuous fibers fused together, there are no fallen fibers and no fraying on the cut surface.

■Friction coefficient

Made of 100% polyurethane elastic fiber, it is non-slip and exhibits a high coefficient of friction.

■Welding and cutting

Welding and cutting are easy using high frequency welders, heaters, etc.

■Can be sewn

Unlike film, it does not fray even when the sewing machine seams are pulled.

■Points to keep in mind when using

Since it is made of 100% polyurethane elastic fiber, the same points as spandex must be kept in mind when using it.

■Weather resistance

If used on a surface for a long time, it will gradually turn yellow due to light and NOx gas, and its strength will decrease. (The degree of yellowing and strength reduction is similar to that of spandex)

■Heat resistance

The normal temperature is below 100℃.If the temperature is above 110℃, there is a risk of stalemate between Espancione comrades.

■Chemical resistance

・It shows the same degree of deterioration as nylon when exposed to concentrated acids and alkalis. ・Deteriorated by chlorine bleach. - Soluble in solvents such as dimethylformamide, tetrahydrofuran, and methyl ethyl ketone.
