About This Product

■Polyphenylene sulfide fiber with excellent heat resistance

KB Seiren Co., Ltd. has developed Gladio®, a polyphenylene sulfide fiber with excellent heat resistance, using its proprietary technology. In the future, we will continue to make full use of our unique fineness spinning technology and composite spinning technology to improve the total fineness and single yarn fineness, which has been difficult until now, for the industrial materials field, which is attracting attention. We will develop it as a fine-grained engineering plastic fiber with functions.

■Product characteristics

・Heat resistance: melting point 285℃, normal use temperature 190℃ ・Chemical resistance: High stability against acids, alkalis, organic solvents, etc. ・Flame retardancy: LOI≧35, showing high self-extinguishing properties ・Fineness: Monofilament is 13dtex ~ ・Fineness: The split type can produce a single yarn of 0.2 dtex. ・Composite: Can be combined with other polymers depending on the application and purpose ・Hydrolysis resistance, heat retention, etc.
