About This Product

To measure the volume resistivity of powder, simply place the sample into the probe unit and set it in the device. The device applies a given pressure and simultaneously measures the resistivity and press density of the powder. This method makes it possible to analyze the properties of powders from a new perspective. This equipment is useful for the development and quality control of electronic components and materials.

■Features

・If you set the load and press the start button, all measurements will be completed automatically. - Newly developed cylinder pump allows measurement with low load (0.01KN). - Powder specific probe (4 probes, ring electrode) allows you to measure the resistivity of powder over a wide range under any pressure. - Differences in the shape and particle size distribution of various powders can be understood from the pressure dependence of resistivity and press density. ・Uses a probe unit that allows easy sample replacement and cleaning.

・Metallic materials such as metal powders, metal oxides, and ceramics; carbon materials such as activated carbon, carbon black, carbon nanotubes, graphite, and graphene. ・Electronic component materials such as secondary battery electrodes, capacitors, EV motors, and coils ・Thin film raw materials such as ITO powder, circuit board materials such as conductive paste ・Toner related, magnetic materials such as ferrite

■Lithium-ion battery: Evaluation of raw materials for positive and negative electrodes

Ideal for evaluating the conductivity of lithium-ion battery positive electrode materials such as NCM (nickel-cobalt-lithium manganate) and NCA (nickel-cobalt-lithium aluminium oxide). Powder is used in some fields, such as food, medicine, and toner, and many powders are molded into products. Therefore, when evaluating powders, it is considered important to evaluate the aggregated state rather than individual particles. Our automatic powder resistance measurement system MCP-PD600 enables comprehensive evaluation of powder by pressurizing powder while confined within an electrode and simultaneously measuring volume resistivity and press density. .
