About This Product

This turbidity meter complies with official methods such as JIS-K0101 (Industrial Water Testing Method), Clean Water Testing Method, and Sanitary Testing Method Commentary, and can measure from low to high turbidity with little color influence. Compatible with turbidity standard solution (polystyrene)* in accordance with the revised drinking water testing method. *Due to the "Revision of Water Quality Standards, etc." that came into effect in April 2004, polystyrene-based particle suspensions have been adopted as turbidity standard solutions that can measure up to the low turbidity range and have less variation between lots than kaolin. It was done.

■Applications

・Environmental water: industrial water, tap water, pool water quality, plankton concentration, beach transparency ・Chemistry: Water repellency ・Toner for printers ・Monomer, emulsion concentration ・Impurities in polymers ・Solid impurities in lubricating oil ・Food: Soy sauce, sauce, beer/Western liquor/Japanese sake Teri or luster, change over time (lees) ・Pharmaceuticals/cosmetics: Emulsion concentration ・Drinks containing vitamins and herbal medicines ・Mixed oil ・Surfactant concentration ・Detergent cleaning power test ・Polymer solution ・Number of bacterial cells ・Electricity related: River water from dam discharge, water quality from multipurpose dams, impurities in boiler water, impurities in cooling water Features

■High sensitivity

Improvements in the optical system (adoption of a halogen lamp, larger luminous flux and larger integrating sphere) have improved reproducibility and stability in the low turbidity region. By using a 50mm cell, changes of 0.001ppm can be detected.

■Turbidity value graph display in real time

Turbidity values are displayed graphically in real time. This makes it possible to monitor the influence of air bubbles in the sample and the state of sedimentation, making it easy to know when to start measurement and making stable measurements possible. Measured values constantly fluctuate because suspended solids settle while convecting within the cell. Since the average value is used as the measured value, stable measurement results can be obtained. Turbidity values can be displayed graphically in real time. When you set a cell containing a sample, you can check the convection of the sample water and the escape of air bubbles on a graph. River water stabilizes in about 3 to 5 seconds, so measurements can be started at a stable timing.

■Wide range

There is no need to switch the measurement range from low turbidity to high turbidity. If you use a cell with an optical path length of 10 mm, you can measure from 0 to 1,000 ppm without changing the range, making it possible to quickly measure samples with unknown turbidity.

■Prevention of condensation

Condensation can be prevented by flowing dry gas into the sample cell chamber. It is possible to measure cold samples as they are.
