■What is a handy colorimeter for flexo/offset printing?
Cyto flexo printing color measuring instruments make measurement and numerical control during the printing process easier than ever. This measuring device is ideal for use in printing sites. You can quickly and easily set the measurement items required on site.
(Density value; Dot gain; Tone value; Color balance; DeltaE2,000) The same type of offset printing spectrophotometer E (with polarizing filter) is also available.
■What is a spectrophotometer?
The spectrophotometer ``Cyto Flexo Printing Color Measuring Instrument'' is a measuring instrument that measures color difference using the color difference formula ΔE2,000. Easy and stable color difference judgment is possible. Color difference DeltaE numerically represents the difference in color between objects by color difference calculation.
The smaller the value of ΔE, the smaller the color difference. Currently, the color difference formula ΔE2,000, developed by CIE in 2000, is most commonly used. The ΔE2,000 is designed to have color difference calculations closer to the human sense of color difference. This is especially effective when evaluating package colors.
■Test results
・0.2 to 0.4: The limit at which a person accustomed to color testing can distinguish between different colors
・1: Level at which you can tell the difference when comparing two colors side by side
・2-3: Level at which you can see the difference when comparing two colors apart
・3.0 or higher: Range where complaints often occur due to color difference
・12.0 or higher: It will be judged as a different color system.
