"ELESTA® PixeeMo®" reduces the time needed to confirm the risk of microbial contamination required for shipping judgment to a minimum of 5 minutes. The lead time until product shipment can be shortened, and inventory storage space can also be significantly reduced. It is also ideal for quality monitoring of intermediate process products.

■Highly sensitive and quantitative rapid detection

"ELESTA® PixeeMo®" is a non-culture quantitative microorganism detection method that does not use ATP or fluorescent staining. It is possible to quantitatively detect low concentrations of microorganisms without being affected by ATP derived from product residue, autofluorescent substances, dead bacteria, etc. A microbial concentration of 10²cells/g can be detected in just 20 minutes.

■Revolutionary filter technology

AFI's proprietary technology "AMATAR®" is an unprecedented and innovative particle separation technology that combines electrical property analysis and microfluidic control with image analysis technology. It is possible to separate only trace amounts of microorganisms mixed in from a large amount of sample component particles, which are a noise factor during microbial testing, without labeling.

■Make microorganisms easier to see and closer to you

Equipped with a high-performance zoom lens manufactured by HIROX, you can observe captured microorganisms with an image magnified more than 1,000 times with optical zoom. Not only can you determine whether the captured microorganisms are cocci or bacilli, but you can also observe the characteristics of bacteria and fungi. Furthermore, it can be enlarged up to 4,000x with digital zoom.

■Automatically counts detected microorganisms

Microorganisms isolated using "ELESTA® PixeeMo®" are automatically counted by image analysis using the dedicated software "ELESTA Counter". The data and photos are also recorded in the system along with all parameter information. It is also possible to output reports and re-analyze images.

■Ideal for research purposes (concentration/recovery)

"ELESTA® PixeeMo®" continues to capture microorganisms in an electric filter in a non-invasive and non-labeled manner, and after concentrating them, they can be recovered using a dedicated ELESTAR buffer. It is also suitable for research on microorganisms that are normally difficult to culture, such as VNC and dead bacteria.
