About This Product

■SunS Flex ShaftFlexible shafts are used in industry as an excellent means of transmitting rotational power to distant locations.

Oiles metal (bush) is used for the bearing. Basically for hand cranking (remote control).

*The specifications listed are for hand-cranked use.

■Advantages・The structure other than the inner shaft is exactly the same as the DS type, so it is low cost and durable.
・Allowable transmission torque only decreases to 80% even when rotating counterclockwise.

■Disadvantages- It can be used for low, medium, and high speed rotations, but in that case it must be used with a large bending radius (approximately R≧50d, where d is the diameter of the inner shaft).
・When used at medium/high speeds, vibration and heat are more likely to be generated compared to the DB type.

*The "torsion angle" is the angle per 1m.9.8N･cm (1kgf･cm).
