About This Product

■As you can see and feel...analyze color, shape, and size at the same time.

A product's appearance is the first determining factor in a consumer's purchase intent, and is also an indicator of quality and freshness. Visual Analyzer IRIS is a system that quantifies the appearance (appearance) of complex and non-uniform sample surfaces such as foods. Samples are easily photographed under high-resolution camera imaging and controlled lighting conditions in a closed cabinet, and color and size variations on the subdivided sample surface are quickly and easily determined using state-of-the-art pattern recognition software. Analyze with high sensitivity. Unlike a color difference meter, which averages the colors in the measurement range, the major feature of this method is that it can quantify color, shape, and size in the same way that people can see and feel them.

■Mechanism to easily perform appearance analysis

The visual analyzer IRIS consists of a measurement chamber equipped with a high-resolution camera and the software AlphaSoft, which combines image processing and multivariate analysis functions. IRIS VA400 is an environmentally friendly design that uses LED for the fluorescent lamp inside the measurement chamber.

■Calibration

Place the included approved color checker on the tray inside the chamber and perform an automatic calibration.

■Measurement

A food sample is placed on a tray inside the chamber, and a CMOS sensor (16 million colors) takes a two-dimensional image of it. It uses a high-power LED brick light (white) that illuminates a wide area with uniform light, making it possible to compare and inspect colors under stable light conditions.
