About This Product

■Summary

ERMA FIRST's ballast water treatment equipment uses a filter (filtration) + electrolysis method. Filtration is done with a 40 micron automatic backwash filter. The disinfection stage is performed using a unique, highly customized electrode that delivers the right amount of disinfectant by using minimal power and ensuring compliance. ERMA FIRST FIT provides practical flexibility for ship managers and operators, allowing their vessels to operate globally without hindrance. There is no need to delay cargo operations, there is no need to perform ballast water exchange, and there is no need for treatment at discharge.

・USCG, revised G8, major ship classification acquired ・Simple configuration allows flexible installation - Compatible with all pump capacities ・Although it is an electrolytic type, it can process up to 0.9 PSU in sea areas (can also process in fresh water areas in freshwater mode) ・Required seawater (in freshwater mode) is 2.6% of the total ballast amount ・Can be used in low temperature range (-2℃) ・No holding time ・Since the amount of hydrogen generated is small, no hydrogen processing equipment is required.
