■Summary
ERMA FIRST's ballast water treatment equipment uses a filter (filtration) + electrolysis method. Filtration is done with a 40 micron automatic backwash filter. The disinfection stage is performed using a unique, highly customized electrode that delivers the right amount of disinfectant by using minimal power and ensuring compliance.
ERMA FIRST FIT provides practical flexibility for ship managers and operators, allowing their vessels to operate globally without hindrance. There is no need to delay cargo operations, there is no need to perform ballast water exchange, and there is no need for treatment at discharge.
