About This Product

■Operating principle of silver ion drinking water sterilizer

Two 99% pure silver plates are built into the cylindrical device and form the electrodes. When water passes between the electrodes, electrolysis occurs when a current is passed through the electrodes, and silver ions are released from the anode toward the electrodes. This release of silver ions causes sterilization. When the direction of the current is changed, the anode and cathode swap places, and silver ions are released in the opposite direction from before the direction of the current was changed. By performing this operation every 10 minutes, the release of silver ions will not be biased to one side and the consumption will be delayed. When worn out, the silver plate can be easily replaced. The silver ion concentration can be selected from 0.04mg/l or 0.10mg/l depending on the regulations in the sea area. The control panel allows concentration selection and switching between automatic or manual operation. If an abnormality occurs in the unit, such as electrode wear, we can also provide a system that sends an alarm to the control room.
