About This Product

■Summary

JOWA oil/water separator uses gravity difference to separate emulsified oil with two filters. There are five types depending on processing capacity: 0.5m3/h, 1.0m3/h, 2.5m3/h, 5.0m3/h, and 10.0m3/h. The entire device is optimized so it does not take up any ground area.

■Function

It is designed with the concept of cyclical processing through automatic operation. No chemicals are required. In the first stage, the oil is removed by gravity under the action of the plates. The oil sensor controls the valve and automatically drains into the sludge tank or other tanks. With this oil sensor, the amount of oil discharged into the sludge tank can be minimized. In the second stage, the emulsified oil is removed through two filter tanks and monitored with a bilge alarm to ensure it is discharged below 15 ppm. Oil accumulated at the top of the filter tank is automatically drained into the sludge tank. If a reading above 15ppm is detected and an alarm is activated, the oil/water separator automatically avoids overboard discharge and recirculates the oil back to the bilge to keep it below 15ppm. If the value is below 15ppm, the valve for discharging overboard will automatically open again, without requiring any human intervention. The entire device is integrated with a skid, and is designed to be easily connected to piping. When this device is delivered to the customer, basically all they need to do is connect it to the inlet/outlet and power source, allowing quick and easy installation. Before shipping, a quality test is conducted to confirm that there are no problems with each function, and devices that pass the test are shipped.
