While enjoying shopping, you can also register your products at the same time. We offer a more comfortable and enriching shopping style, allowing customers to shop at their own pace and providing real-time bargain and promotional information. There is a dedicated cart type prepared by the store and a type that uses the customer's smartphone, and it is possible to use both types together depending on the store's operations.
Usage flow
■Enter the store
Select Pipit Self from the cart storage area, authenticate with your membership card, and start shopping.
■Smartphone type
Customers download the Pipit Self app onto their smartphones in advance. Check in by scanning the "2D code for entering the store" at the store. After checking in, you can use your smartphone as a store cash register.
■Scan while shopping
Scan the selected product using your smartphone's camera or the cart's scanner and register the product. You can shop while checking the total amount. Products without barcodes can be easily registered from the screen. The pull sticker can also be read with a smartphone or cart scanner.
■Security while shopping (cart type only option)
If you forget to scan an item and add it to your cart, or if an item you canceled on the screen is not removed from your cart, you can receive a pop-up notification.
■ Check bargain information
Display store promotional information on your smartphone screen or tablet in your cart. Direct and effective sales promotion is possible at the same time as product scanning.
■Payment
You can pay directly using Pipit Self-exclusive payment machines without having to line up at the cash register, making your payment even faster. Receipts can also be checked on your smartphone.
■Attendant
・Monitor the usage status of Pipit Self and accounting machines. Supporting customers' shopping and accounting.
-You can check age-confirmed products and unregistered products.
■Leaving the store
In order to prevent people from accidentally passing through the checkout machine, a notification will be displayed on the screen, a patrol lamp, or a buzzer when a receipt other than payment has been read. Furthermore, depending on the payment method, you can check out at the same time and exit the store smoothly (optional)
