About This Product

This is a test that extracts DNA from a sample (culture), determines a part of the 16S RRNA gene area (bacteria) or ITS area (fungus), and obtains information to identify (= identify) the seeds of microorganisms.

* We do not separate microorganisms from products.

■ Examination method① DNA extraction
Collect bacteria from the sample (culture) and extract DNA. If the separation (pure culture) is insufficient, there is a possibility that the array data may not be obtained.
② PCR
The specified analysis area (16s RRNA gene or ITS area) is amplified by PCR. In the case of 16S RRNA gene regions, in principle, amplify 10F and 800R. If you want to analyze almost all areas (10F and 1500R), please let me know.
③ Sequence reaction
A sequence reaction is performed using the product amplified by PCR.
④ Capillary electronic swimming
Acquire array data by separating and detecting a sequence reaction product by separating and detecting a capillary electrical swimming.

■ About the specimen to be providedOnly pure cultured microorganisms (bacteria / yeast: agar flat plate medium or liquid medium, mold: agar flat plate) can be tested.
Please specify the area you want to be analyzed.

[Precautions when sending]
･ There is no problem at room temperature.
･ If multiple colonies are analyzed, please make a mark by magic so that you can understand the colony to be analyzed.

■ Delivery･ Report (test method is described)
･ Sequence data (forward and Reverse's waveform data)
* Delivery items will be provided online. In addition, other related documents, such as quotes and bills, will be provided online online.
* We do not analyze waveform data.
* The specimen will be sterilized immediately after the exam, unless there is a return request.

■ Examination periodAfter the sample arrives at us, it is about 5 business days (business is on weekdays only).

■ Expenses14,000 yen per sample (excluding tax)
* When analyzing almost all areas of the 16S RRNA gene area (using 10F and 1500R), it costs 17,000 yen (excluding tax) per sample.
* When re -analyzing (when changing the area to be analyzed, or when the specimen is pure culture by us), it costs 12,000 yen (excluding tax) per sample.

■ Precautions for your request･ Even if the sample is not pure cultured or the reagent or primer is not compatible, it will be expensive.
･ It is not possible to make sure that the species and genus can be identified using the analyzed array. It will be expensive even if the species or genus cannot be specified in an analyzed array.
