About This Product

The general-purpose disc type ZR series is a low-voltage varistor that is ideal as an element to protect electronic equipment, control equipment, and general electronic equipment from surges and noise.

■Features

・Excellent voltage non-linearity and can keep the limit voltage low. ・Since the voltage and current characteristics are symmetrical, it can handle surges of both positive and negative polarity, and can also be used in AC circuits. ・Small size, high surge resistance, and stable against repeated surges. ・Compared to discharge type protection elements, response is faster and there is no follow current. ・Small temperature coefficient. ・Wide operating voltage range. ・High reliability.

・Protection of various semiconductors from momentary overvoltage ・Protection from induced lightning surges induced in wiring and communication lines ・Protection from opening/closing surges using relays, etc. ・For voltage stabilization
