■Product overview・KLASTA MATE® is a composite material of metal and carbon.
・It has a structure in which metal particles are uniformly dispersed in the carbon material.
・Features include: Any metal type can be composited with carbon at any concentration, and most metals on the periodic table can be composited. It is also possible to combine two or more metal types.
・Used as a raw material for the production of nanocarbons such as endohedral metallofullerene and carbon nanotubes.
・By using it as a sputtering target material or an evaporation source for arc ion plating, it is also suitable for forming DLC ​​(diamond-like carbon) films doped with metal elements.
