About This Product

■Product overview

EVEREDKOTE®-B is a material made by coating a high-purity isotropic graphite base material with a dense TaC (tantalum carbide) film using our unique CVD method.

■Features

・Excellent heat resistance. - Prevents detachment and scattering of graphite powder and release of gas and impurities from the graphite base material. ・Excellent reaction resistance to etching gas.

■Usage examples

・Materials for SiC single crystal growth ・MOCVD parts ・High temperature resistant parts

■Reactivity with various substances

・Hydrogen chloride 1,200℃×5h No reaction 1,600℃×5h No reaction ・Ammonia 1,200℃×5h No reaction 1,600℃×5h No reaction ・Hydrogen 1,200℃×5h No reaction 1,600℃×5h No reaction ・Oxygen 1,200℃×5h Significant reaction (over 600℃) 1,600℃×5h Significant reaction (over 600℃) ・Hydrogen chloride reaction test: 20Torr, HCl/H2=0.30/2.70 L/min (10%) ・Ammonia reaction test: 20Torr, NH3/H2=0.5/2.0 L/min (20%) ・Hydrogen reaction test: 20Torr, H2 3.0 L/min ・Oxygen: Cracks and embrittlement occur in the coating in a low-concentration oxidizing atmosphere.
