When developing and measuring the characteristics of devices that are used close to or in contact with the human body, such as mobile phones and Bluetooth headsets, it is necessary to take into account the effects of the human body. When taking measurements while taking into account the influence of the human body, it is possible to actually touch the human body to make measurements, but the permittivity of the human body varies from person to person, and the permittivity of the same person may change depending on the season. Therefore, there are difficulties in correlating the measured data. For this reason, a simulated living body (phantom) with electrical characteristics similar to the human body is used.

Human body equivalent phantoms can be broadly divided into liquid phantoms and solid phantoms.Liquid phantoms suffer from changes in dielectric constant, such as the degree of ionization of the electrolyte salt, which changes in conjunction with temperature changes, or due to decay. There was a problem with the reproducibility of the dielectric constant due to re-creating the liquid, and there was a problem with the correlation of the measured data. This product is a solid phantom that combines a chemically stable silicone resin with an inorganic dielectric material and has a complex permittivity controlled to be similar to that of the human body.

This solid-state phantom is physicochemically stable, with almost no change in dielectric constant due to temperature changes or changes over time, making it easy to correlate measurement data. In addition, this phantom material is easy to cast into molds and can be made into a variety of shapes, allowing us to provide products with shapes that meet your needs.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that although some solid-state phantoms have been compatible with frequencies above 300MHz, they have not been compatible with frequencies as low as 13.56MHz like RF-ID. . This is because at frequencies below 300MHz, the imaginary part of the permittivity becomes sharply higher than the real part, and it was thought that a solid phantom could not handle such changes in permittivity.

By using special dielectric materials, we offer human-equivalent solid-state phantoms that are compatible with low frequency bands below 300MHz, especially frequencies as low as 13.56MHz, which is used in various applications such as RF-ID. It is now possible to provide.
