About This Product

■Summary explanation

Approximately half a century has passed since ball valves were introduced to the world in the 1950s. Currently, among a wide variety of valves, the ball valve is the most commonly used. The B-55 short face-to-face (wafer type) ball valve was manufactured and sold based on user feedback. I want to change the aluminum ball valve to a standard ball valve, but it is heavy and the distance between the faces is long. I want to change the knife gate valve to a standard ball valve, but I can't get the gap between the faces. I want to change the butterfly valve to a standard ball valve, but I can't get the gap between the faces. I would like to install a general-purpose valve, but there is no space between the surfaces. Users who prefer flange taps (lug type) for piping, users who want a ball valve with thin spacing, etc.

■Overview of ball valves

A Ball valve's flow path has the same diameter as the piping, so the flow is smooth and there is less fluid resistance compared to other valves. Sizes below 100A are full bore type, and sizes 125A and 150A are slightly smaller in diameter. The B valve body (ball) is supported by Teflon rings on the fluid inlet and outlet sides (floating), and when closed, the fluid pressure pushes the ball and presses it against the outlet seat, acting as a wind blocking force. C Ball valves open and close by rotating 90 degrees, rather than turning the handle like a general-purpose gate valve or globe valve. In addition, since it is lighter and more compact than general-purpose valves, it puts less strain on piping and can be easily installed in a small space. Ball valves are easy to maintain because they have a small parts list.
