About This Product

■Summary explanation

In 1955, we manufactured and sold a large number of BABA cocks for the first time. Currently, most valves have been changed to ball valves and butterfly valves, but we deliver them with fluid specifications that require a cock.

■Overview of the cook

It has an oval hole in the conical plug, and the fluid flow can be fully opened or closed by rotating the handle 90 degrees. Generally used either fully closed or fully open. Depending on the three-way cock system, various flows can be switched at will. The standard cock type closure (plug) is conical (tapered) and does not require lubrication. However, it comes with grease when delivered.

■History of cook

The original form of the cock appears to have been made around 2,000 years ago during the Roman era, when bronze cocks were used for water taps. It is thought that until modern times, cock-type valves were used in most cases where valves were needed.
