About This Product

■Equipment overview Merex-CR is an inclination measurement device that utilizes a gravitational acceleration sensor (hereinafter referred to as inclination sensor) using MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) technology and an electronic compass. While it has the advantages of conventional inclinometers, it has greatly improved the immediacy of data and the ease of installation, which has been an issue in the past. ■Main usage locations ・Simple measurement of dangerous slope areas (rockfalls, debris flows, collapses, landslides, etc.) ・Safety management of cutting and excavation slopes during construction ・Maintenance and management of civil engineering structures (bridges, tunnels, steel towers, retaining walls, etc.) ■Ability not found in conventional equipment ・Measurement range is ±30 degrees ・Measurement error is 0.5 degrees ・Measurement resolution is 0.025 degrees ・Measurement interval can be selected from "1/5/10/30 minutes, 1/6/12/24 hours" ■High expandability ・Equipment can be expanded according to the scale of the objects to be observed and monitored ・Up to 5 base units can be installed in the same communication area ・Up to 10 slave units can be added to one base unit ・Communication between the base unit and slave unit is via specified low-power wireless communication, so no wiring such as cables is required. ■Easy to install and relocate -The main body can be attached to a single pipe, making installation easy. Initial settings are not required as the relative inclination and direction are measured from the initial installation value. ・Place single pipe ・Leave about 20cm at the tip ・Inclinometer installation (base unit) ・Inclinometer installation (child unit) ■Equipped with alarm output function If a preset reference value (tilt angle) is exceeded, warnings such as sirens and red lights can be output. Immediately after an alarm is issued, the measurement method automatically switches from normal mode to alarm mode, and the measurement interval also changes automatically. Measurements can be made at finer measurement intervals during dangerous conditions when an alarm is issued. ■Shape and internal structure ・Communication distance approximately 100m (depending on line-of-sight conditions) ・Detects the direction of inclination. Measurement range 0 to 360°, resolution 0.1°, error less than ±15° - The handset is powered by a 3V lithium battery (CR123A x 4). No need to replace for about half a year. ・Detect inclination angle. Measurement range ±30° (from vertical), resolution 0.025°, error less than ±0.5° ・The black cover part is an insertion slot for serial connection and power connection. A Φ48.6 single pipe enters here and is fixed by tightening two screws. ■Cost The cost is low because the main unit is responsible for data aggregation and the installation method is simple.
