About This Product

SK mortar is a product made to order in units of 200kg (20kg x 10 bags). Delivery time is 1 to 2 weeks.

■Features・SK mortar is a premix mortar containing anti-efflorescence agent. Since it is a pre-mix type, stable efflorescence prevention work is possible even in small quantities by simply mixing sand and clean water.
・SK mortar has a water absorption rate that is approximately 1/10 lower than that of regular cement. This effect reduces the amount of water that enters into the concrete and suppresses the dissolution of calcium hydroxide within the concrete.
・SK mortar does not contain aggregate (sand, etc.).
- 20kg of SK-mortar is mixed with 60kg of sand on site.

■Construction method and precautions- Moisten the sand to be mixed, mix thoroughly with SK mortar (1) and sand (3), and add fresh water depending on the construction purpose.
・Prepare the base by removing fragile layers, laitance, dirt, etc., and washing with water to create a healthy base. If the base is dry, apply a moderate amount of water.
・If you are using it as Basa mortar for stone laying, please thoroughly apply slag to the entire area and let the Basa mortar harden properly. SK mortar has an anti-efflorescence effect after hardening. If water gets into areas that are not completely cured, it may cause efflorescence.
・We recommend mixing an adhesion enhancer such as Hyflex into the slag water to increase the adhesion strength.
