With the demand for integrated LCD module and touch panel solutions increasing significantly, ONation can offer LCD modules with touch panels as standard solutions. We can provide customization services for requests for integrated proposals for not only resistive touch panels (RTP) and capacitive touch panels (CTP), but also touch pads and optical sensors.
■Capacitive type
The capacitive touch panel is equipped with multi-touch functionality, and is also waterproof, dustproof, and oil resistant, making it durable in most usage environments. Finger or conductive stylus input is possible, allowing fast and accurate touch input without drift. Projected capacitive technology (PCAP) consists of an insulating material, such as glass, coated with a transparent conductive layer (ITO) on the glass surface. The user's fingers can conduct electricity.
This technology recognizes the position of the touch operation based on the change in capacitance between the electrodes when the finger is brought close.
