About This Product

Compared to other polyethylene foams, the slightly harder high-modulus polyethylene foam is a material that is more elastic, less prone to flattening, and less prone to scratches. It is also used for floor mats, yoga/sports mats, etc. as it does not sag even after repeated compression.

■Processing method

-If the thickness is up to 1cm, we recommend cutting with scissors (preferably ones with long blades). Using scissors, it is relatively easy to process not only straight lines but also curved lines. We recommend cutting with a utility knife if the thickness is 1cm or more. If you cut with a ruler, you can cut relatively neatly. You can also cut more cleanly by spraying the blade with a commercially available silicone spray to improve slippage. ・Please note that the slightly harder high elastic polyethylene foam cannot be polished with sandpaper or a mini grinder due to its elasticity. We recommend cutting slowly to avoid leaving scissor marks. ・Rubber-based adhesive is recommended for adhesion. When applying the adhesive, apply it to both surfaces to bond the adhesive to each other for a stronger bond. It is also possible to apply double-sided tape, and after applying it, you can press it to ensure a secure bond.

■Notes

-This product is easily scratched, so we will try to package it in a way that prevents it from getting scratched, but we ask for your understanding that some scratches may occur. Also, please be careful when handling it. ・Depending on the degree of foaming, the product may have uneven color. The degree of foaming is slightly different between the middle part of the sponge and the surrounding parts, so uneven coloring will inevitably occur. Please understand that there is no problem with the quality. ・This product will be ordered from the manufacturer after receiving your order, and processing will be carried out after the material is received. For this reason, we may not be able to respond to delivery dates until the next day or later, or delivery times may be delayed compared to other materials.
