About This Product

■Summary

Hard polyethylene foam is a material that is easy to process and is often used as a material for crafts and DIY materials. It is a material similar to that used for beat boards. Since it is a closed cell, it does not allow air to pass through and does not absorb water. Although its resilience is somewhat weak, it is flexible and does not leave noticeable marks even when bent. It also exhibits high performance as a heat insulating material.

■Processing method

-If the thickness is up to 1cm, we recommend cutting with scissors (preferably ones with long blades). Using scissors, it is relatively easy to process not only straight lines but also curved lines. When cutting with a utility knife, use a ruler and cut slowly. ・Rubber-based adhesive is recommended for bonding polyethylene foam. When applying adhesive, rather than just applying it to one side of the surfaces to be bonded, apply it to both sides so that the adhesive adheres to each other for a stronger bond. You can also attach double-sided tape. Double-sided tape can be firmly adhered by crimping after pasting.

■Notes

-This product is easily scratched, so we will try to package it in a way that prevents it from getting scratched, but we ask for your understanding that some scratches may occur. Also, please be careful when handling it. ・Depending on the degree of foaming, the product may have uneven color. The degree of foaming is slightly different between the middle part of the sponge and the surrounding parts, so uneven coloring will inevitably occur. Please understand that there is no problem with the quality. ・This product will be ordered from the manufacturer after receiving your order, and processing will be carried out after the material is received. For this reason, we may not be able to respond to delivery dates until the next day or later, or delivery times may be delayed compared to other materials.
