About This Product

■Conductive thread: Ligare

Ligare is a high performance conductive composite yarn created using a special composite spinning technology. The conductive layer contains more carbon black than current conductive yarns, and its effect shows high static neutralization in any environment, regardless of the material used, and it is also resistant to physical damage such as washing and friction. This is a new material that maintains its performance even under stress and maintains stable conductive performance. In Ligare thread, the conductive resin is exposed in three places on the thread surface, creating high conductivity on the thread surface. It has three contact surfaces and exhibits higher conductive performance compared to other companies' products. It can also be combined with other fibers to expand its range of uses.

■Characteristics of conductivity of Ligare

・There is almost no dependence of conductivity on temperature and humidity. - Can be mixed with almost any fiber. ・Excellent durability and semi-permanent effect. - Sufficient conductivity can be obtained even when mixed in small amounts with woven and knitted products.

■Notes on handling

・Since both the conductive layer and the protective layer are made of polyester, care must be taken when treating with alkali. - The mixing rate varies depending on the purpose and environment, but it is effective at 0.2% to 2% for woven and knitted fabrics for general clothing, and 0.1% to 1% for carpets, etc. ・In addition to the mixing ratio, the conductive performance also depends on the spacing between the conductive threads when made into a woven or knitted fabric. When developing the fabric, setting the width spacing to 15 mm or less, preferably 10 mm or less, will show the static elimination effect due to corona discharge. - When conductive thread is used on the surface of a woven or knitted material, it is recognized that the effect extends to the other surface as well.

■Technical feature details

Ligare is a black polyester made of two components: a conductive layer made by mixing high-crystalline polyester with conductive fine carbon particles at a high concentration, and a protective layer made of general polyester, which are compositely bonded side-by-side during the melt composite spinning process. Conductive composite fiber. The conductive layer is connected at the center of the fibers and has three or more exposed areas on the sides, making it easy for charge to move and diffuse in the axial and diametrical directions of the fibers. Moreover, self-neutralization by corona discharge has a great effect. Since the surface of the conductive layer is less exposed and the protective layer is made of regular polyester, its strength, friction properties, and durability are comparable to regular yarns. In addition, since both the conductive layer and the protective layer are made of polyester, they have excellent compatibility, and are characterized by extremely low occurrence of peeling or falling off due to friction during impact.
