About This Product
Use this when the security product behaves unstablely (suddenly starts beeping, cannot be turned off, etc.). Effective for vehicles that experience a much larger voltage drop (momentary 5V or less) than expected by the product when cranking (starting the engine or while driving) and locking/unlocking the doors.
Modern vehicles have smaller batteries, so it is necessary to check the battery frequently. Even if the battery is fully charged or has been driven for a long time, some vehicles may drop to around 6V after a year or so.
If you are wearing a device that uses a large amount of electricity while driving, such as a radar detector or drive recorder, it may be difficult to charge it, so be careful. In the summer and winter, the air conditioner runs at full capacity, so the battery cannot be charged unless it is operated for a long time. Especially in winter, the voltage drop becomes large because the reference voltage is lower due to low temperatures.
