About This Product

It is no exaggeration to say that the basic performance of a security system is determined by the impact sensor. An active IR shock sensor is a sensor that detects minute vibrations transmitted through a vehicle by emitting infrared (IR) light onto a pendulum-shaped vibration unit and analyzing the reflected light. We have minimized false alarms by creating a range of sensitivity between the warning area and alarm area, and by identifying environmental noise such as vibration frequencies that directly hit the vehicle body, muffler sounds, trucks, trains, airplanes, earthquakes, and lightning. . It exhibits outstanding performance when installed on plastic parts. Sensitivity adjustment is intentionally a single type, considering the ease of sensitivity setting.

■Less unevenness in sensitivity before and after the vehicle

Because the basic sensitivity is extremely high and the sensitivity adjustment range is wide, it is possible to detect impacts almost equally on the entire vehicle, regardless of body size, from light cars to minivans to one-box cars.

■Conventional sensor

There is uneven sensitivity mainly depending on the location of the sensor. In addition, increasing the sensitivity also increases the number of false alarms.

■VISION sensor

A single sensor can detect impacts almost equally throughout the vehicle. *False alarms do not include preliminary warnings. Be careful not to increase the sensitivity too much (over 50%).

■Notes

・Standard equipment for VISION main unit. ・Sensors cannot necessarily prevent all crimes. ・The sensor may fail due to various environmental noises in the place where it is used. Please do not increase the sensitivity too much than necessary so as not to disturb your neighbors, and use the appropriate sensitivity setting according to the usage environment. - When using a shock sensor and radar sensor in combination, there is a possibility of malfunction due to radio wave interference. Please read the instructions carefully and be careful when installing.
