I thought about what Shibasaki could do to protect and continue the tradition.
Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, where Shibasaki is based, hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the Chichibu Night Festival, and is an area that attracts more tourists than the metropolitan area on weekends. Many of the lanterns and snow caves used at festivals use candles or incandescent light bulbs. Candles were easily flammable, and incandescent light bulbs could break and required a generator, which led to safety issues. Therefore, we have developed ``Gatou-MIYABI'', a non-flammable, low power consumption and safe LED lighting that imitates the flame of a candle and achieves extremely natural fluctuations.
