High productivity/simultaneous reading of both sides
■High speed scan
A large amount of documents can be digitized quickly. In color, the DS-7500 can read 40 pages/minute and the DS-6500 can read 25 pages/minute.
■Able to read large amounts of documents stably in a short time
We respond to the high demands of business scanning at high speed. Two CCD image sensors simultaneously read the front and back sides, making it possible to scan both sides in one pass. Documents printed on both sides can be read quickly.
Double feed detection function
■Double feed detection function
The problem of double feeding, where multiple sheets are scanned overlapping each other, can be a fatal problem in business situations where a large number of scans are required. Epson has installed a "double feed detection function" to prevent errors from being noticed after reading a large number of documents and causing major disruption to business operations. This is a mechanism that uses an ultrasonic sensor to detect when documents overlap and are automatically stopped from being fed.
Prevents missing data and supports smooth and safe scanning operations.
Durability/Reliability
■High-volume paper feed and excellent durability for digitizing order forms and slips
It can feed a large quantity of 100 sheets, allowing you to smoothly convert large amounts of documents into data. It also has excellent durability to meet the harsh demands of business situations. It demonstrates stable power even in hard daily use such as converting order forms and slips into data.
■Scan originals of mixed sizes at the same time
You can scan a mixture of originals with the same size in the main scanning direction (A4 portrait and A5 landscape) by placing them in the ADF (auto document feeder).
■Uses LED as light source. Significantly shortens recovery time from sleep time
By using an LED as the light source, the time to return from sleep time has been significantly shortened compared to the previous model, the ES-H300, which used a white cold cathode fluorescent lamp. With the ES-H300, it took 12 to 15 seconds to wake up from sleep, but it can wake up in less than 1 second.
