Basic performance
■Comfortable scanning of 35 pages/70 pages (A4, color/monochrome, 200/300dpi) per minute
Capable of reading 35 A4 documents per minute. It also supports simultaneous double-sided reading, so 70 sides can be read per minute. It is useful for individuals who scan only a small number of pages at a time, and for distributed scanning at reception desks.
■Paper feed capacity 50 sheets
Although the main unit is compact, it can feed up to 50 sheets into the ADF (Auto Document Feeder). This helps ensure smooth scanning by minimizing document additions.
■Supports additional scans
During continuous scanning of multiple originals, you can add additional originals without interrupting the operation. Even large documents that exceed the ADF (Auto Document Feeder) feeding capacity of 50 sheets can be read continuously without stopping.
■Space-saving design
When not in use, the auto document feeder (ADF) can be folded for compact storage.
■Paper compatibility
Smooth digitization with a wide range of paper compatibility
Compatible with a variety of paper types, including thin paper such as receipts and transportation slips, long paper, and cards. The scanner is equipped with a function that automatically determines the document size and automatically cuts out the data, making scanning work more efficient.
■Documents larger than A4 can also be scanned
Although it is an A4 scanner, you can also scan A3 and B4 sizes by inserting them into the carrier sheet. (Up to 5 pieces can be set)
■Can be docked with flatbed scanner (DS-531 only/set model model number: DS-531FB)
Can be easily docked with the flatbed scanner GT-S660 using the connection unit (optional). You can operate both ADF (Auto Document Feeder) and document glass scanning using only the DS-531's scanner driver. By using the document table, you can also scan booklets and torn originals.
Paper feeding function
■Reduces the occurrence of double feeding
The use of large diameter paper feed rollers increases the contact surface with the paper, making it possible to stabilize a variety of paper types. Furthermore, by rotating the paper separation roller in the opposite direction, paper suction is controlled and double feeding is prevented.
