Four main features of SC-R5050/SC-R5050L
■New ink technology that can print on various mediaThe newly developed resin ink allows printing on not only PVC and banners, but also paper and fabric.

■Epson's unique printing method achieves high image quality that is acceptable for signage applications.In addition to the PrecisionCore micro TFP print head that achieves high image quality, it is equipped with a newly developed heater mechanism, enabling stable and vivid color reproduction with little in-plane color difference. It also uses a newly developed multi-layer halftone to reduce the horizontal stripes (banding) that are typical of inkjet printers, achieving high-quality printing.

■New features that help maximize productivityThe quick-drying properties of resin ink allow for quick delivery times.
Additionally, new features such as user self-repair and hot-swap functions reduce printer downtime caused by head and ink replacements, contributing to further productivity improvements.

■Reliable design for stable operationDesigned to prevent paper powder, dust, ink mist, etc. from accumulating inside the printer, contributing to reducing the frequency of printer failures. In addition, it is equipped with a head rubbing detection function and a signal lamp, allowing for quick response in the event of a failure, leading to reduced downtime.

■Uses newly developed UltraChrome RS inkAdopts newly developed UltraChrome RS ink. Since it is based on water-based ink, it contains almost no harmful substances and is environmentally friendly.

■Achieves outdoor durability of up to 3 years without laminating"UltraChrome RS Ink" has an outdoor weather resistance of up to 3 years without lamination.
