About This Product

Coolspool29 Twin is a Portable Aircraft Start Unit that connects two units in parallel and has an output voltage of 26VDC (peak current 4800A). The Coolspool29 Twin is the perfect unit for situations where additional battery capacity performance is required while retaining the essential benefits of mobility.

Compared to 24VDC starters of the same capacity, the Coolspool29 Twin offers significantly higher performance, delivering faster spool-up and cold starts that directly impact turbine life. The Coolspool29 Twin can be broken down into individual modules for convenient portability and is designed to be carried onboard for emergency power or turbine starting. The starter is also equipped with an automatic three-stage internal charger to maximize cell life and is suitable for starting large turbine aircraft and helicopters.

The Coolspool29 Twin is equipped with a digital voltmeter with a "push to view" button to monitor battery voltage. A spring-loaded output cover allows this aircraft starter to be transported by air. Comes with a Nato lead set, charging leads, and a durable canvas protective jacket.
