About This Product

This heater eliminates dust and gas emissions to the utmost. Suitable for use in clean rooms such as semiconductor manufacturing. Since the heating element, sensor, and wires do not come into direct contact with the heated fluid, it can also be used to heat water vapor and some corrosive gases. Compared to other methods, it is low cost, highly versatile, and highly reliable. The heating element and temperature sensor are hermetically sealed inside the quartz tube. Air is indirectly heated by passing through the gap between the inner and outer quartz tubes.

■About the lifespan of the temperature sensor

Regarding the lifespan of the temperature sensor, due to the structure of the CLH heater, part of the temperature sensor wire (thermocouple) will rise to almost the same temperature as the heating element. Therefore, the lifespan of the sensor may become an issue. 　 We use the thickest K thermocouple possible for this model's sensor, but since only a diameter of about 0.65 mm can be used for small models, the lifespan may be quite short depending on the usage conditions (heating element temperature). It will be. When using a heating element at high temperatures, it is safer to insert a temperature sensor externally, or use an R thermocouple (optional) if the sensor is built-in.

■About the materials used

In addition to the main materials of stainless steel, quartz glass, fluororesin, and fluororubber, this heater also uses a silicone adhesive to maintain adhesion and airtightness. This uses silicon RTV unless otherwise specified. You can use a modified silicone adhesive instead, but it has slightly lower heat resistance (180℃→120℃)
