■Uses PARASOLID kernel The PARASOLID kernel is used in the most CAD/CAM systems in the world. Intermediate files such as IGES files are used to transfer data between different systems, but problems may occur due to conversion errors or differences in processing methods. Data can be exchanged between CAD/CAM using PARASOLID using the kernel standard XT file, so 3D models can be exchanged as is. ■Fusion of surface and solid Connecting with all surfaces closed creates one solid body. Solids made up of multiple surfaces can easily be distributed across multiple surfaces. You can create models by freely using solids and surfaces depending on your purpose. In addition to solids and solid booleans, surfaces and surface trims, you can also cut solids with surfaces. ■Surface operations for each seat body Operations such as trim and fillet are performed on a sheet body basis, and the results are automatically connected to one sheet body. You can also connect multiple seat bodies into one seat body. Even if there is a gap between the seat bodies, tolerant modeling is possible by specifying the tolerance and connecting them. ■Check function and correction function Check shading displays defective parts of the model in red, and body check displays the details of the defect. Correct any defects that can be corrected by performing a concatenation operation. There is also a function to fill in holes that are missing due to loading external data, etc. ■Modeling support such as measurement and analysis It supports modeling with functions such as measuring the inclination angle and radius of the model, analyzing the surface area, center of gravity, volume, and mass, and grading and dividing solid models. ■Three-dimensional view conversion function to convert 3D model to plan view Converts 3D model data to 2D data viewed from the front/top/side. The layered model also outputs 2D data in layers. In addition, you can specify whether to perform hidden line processing (blank/dashed line) and arc approximation processing.
