About This Product

The water purification tank Live uses patented BP eraser technology to purify water. BP Eraser is a device that kills and decomposes bacteria, viruses, plankton, etc. using highly sterilizing ultraviolet light (UV-C) and photocatalytic reactions. Furthermore, it has the ability not only to sterilize, but also to decompose chemicals such as toxins and pesticides produced by bacteria. Moreover, photocatalysts only react with things they touch, and no chemical species remain in the water, so it can be used safely and securely as drinking water.

■How water purifier Live works

Photocatalysis is a physicochemical change that occurs when TiO2 (titanium dioxide) is irradiated with ultraviolet light. When a photocatalytic reaction occurs, oxygen is activated and becomes a highly reactive active acid species. The active oxygen species include atomic oxygen that can oxidize carbon monoxide even at low temperatures, so most organic substances can be decomposed into carbon dioxide and water. Even though it has such bactericidal and decomposing power, since it is a contact reaction, no active oxygen species remain in the water. Therefore, it can be safely used as drinking water.

・Water supply through a filter ・Start water purification by setting a timer ・Provide safe drinking water (filling the reagent container with chlorine completely sterilizes it)
