About This Product
■Environmentally friendly and durable complex oxide pigment
Complex Inorganic Color Pigment (CICP) is an inorganic pigment formed by firing two or more metal oxides.
Because they are produced by firing at high temperatures of over 800℃, they are sometimes called fired pigments.
The most important features of complex oxide pigments are their extremely stable structure, which provides them with high heat resistance, chemical resistance, weather (light) resistance, and even greater safety.
It was originally developed as a coloring agent for ceramics and enamel, and has been widely used for coloring ceramics since ancient times.
The excellent robustness (heat resistance, weather (light) resistance, chemical resistance, etc.) of these pigments for ceramics meets the high requirements for modern plastics and colorants for paints, and they have been used in engineering applications, which have been in particular demand in recent years. It is now widely used for plastics, heat-resistant paints, and even outdoor paints for building materials.
We also have products that comply with various laws and regulations that are becoming stricter year by year.
■◇■ Near-infrared reflective pigment “Heat-shielding pigment” ■◇■
A "black" pigment that efficiently reflects near-infrared rays and reduces the temperature rise of objects.
Pigments are colorants that utilize their absorption and reflection properties in the visible light range, but in recent years, the near-infrared reflection properties of some complex oxide pigments have attracted much attention.
Near-infrared reflective black pigments that take advantage of their reflective properties in the near-infrared region are used as coloring materials in thermal barrier paints.
Near-infrared reflective black pigments have the effect of mitigating the temperature rise of objects caused by near-infrared rays such as sunlight, so when applied to paints and plastics, they can prevent heat accumulation, improve cooling efficiency, and prevent thermal deformation and thermal expansion. , product life can be improved.
We also have a complete lineup of products, including chromium-free thermal barrier pigments, to meet the various needs of our customers.
[Features]
・Effectively reflects near-infrared rays
・Suppresses temperature rise caused by sunlight
・Reflects only infrared rays while retaining the original performance of the pigment
■Main uses
