4206 type impedance pipe kit (50Hz to 6.4kHz) ■ configuration ・ Pipe with an inner diameter of 100 mm (tube) ・ Inner diameter 29 mm tube (thin tube) ・ Sample holder (inner diameter 29 mm and 100 mm) ・ Extension tube (inner diameter 29 mm and 100 mm) ■ Two types of tube configurations can be assembled ・ Thick tube setup for parameter measurement of frequency range from 50 Hz to 1.6 kHz ・ Fine tube setup for parameter measurement of frequency range from 500 Hz to 6.4 kHz The thick pipe has a loud speaker on one end. In addition, a frequency load unit is attached, and the load type can be selected from the following three. ・ High pass: For high frequency frequency measurement due to thin tube ・ Linear: For measurement by thick tube ・ Low pass: High accuracy in the frequency area lower than 100 Hz In the thick tube setup, a sample holder for thick pipes is attached directly to the opening of the thick tube. There are three couplers in the tube to flash mounts inside the tube. The flash mount combines the microphone and the sound field in the jurisdiction to prevent the pressure leak that causes a measurement error. In the fine tube setup, the thin tube (with speaker) is attached to the opening of the thick tube, and a thin tube sample holder is attached to the fine tube. By attaching one or two extension pipes, and changing the position of the slide piston of the sample holder, you can change the effective length in each setting. The interior of the pipe is attached to the 4206 type, and is performed at the 4187 type 1/4 inch condominium samicrophone, which is specially designed to exclude sound pressure leaks at high frequencies. ■ Applications The 4206 and 4206A type can be used to measure the sound characteristics of a small test sample, including composite materials (eg, ceiling tiles) and implicit materials (eg, cracked acoustic tiles). The piston back plate attaches a test sample inside the sample holder, but you can pull it out and provide an air layer behind the test sample. As a result, for example, you can simulate the hanging ceiling. In addition, the 4206 type can be placed vertically to measure the arrangement sample that must be horizontally.
