The shake method is an antibacterial test method that is suitable for special shapes or accessories where the sample is not smooth. In the case of a specimen that can make a flat -shaped test piece (5cm x 5cm, etc.), the shake method is not used in principle using JISZ2801. Even if the shape is complicated, the surface area is calculated in some way. The surface area refers to the surface area of the original surface (unique surface) of the product, excluding a new surface (new surface) that is newly formed by cutting. The new surface should be less than 10%of the unique surface.
