The sealed precision linear encoder L35 converts the position value and movement direction of the movement (displacement) of important parts of the machine body into electrical signals. The encoder structure consists of a glass scale fixed in a rigid housing, and a measuring head guided by ball bearings inside the housing. The encoder is protected by two lip seals in order to operate in harsh environments such as chips and cutting coolant. Clean air can also be supplied to the encoder housing for added protection. The main feature is that it is housed in a strong housing for improved vibration resistance. The origin magnet can be attached to the groove on the front of the encoder housing and moved.
