NI USRP (Universal Software Radio Peripheral) is hardware for software defined radio (SDR) provided by NI (National Instruments, Inc.). This is a highly flexible, high-performance, low-cost transceiver using a wireless prototyping platform that can be controlled with a commercially available PC. It supports frequencies from 50MHz to 6GHz, and can support communications such as Wi-Fi, GPS, LTE, MIMO, and Cellular. There is also an FPGA-equipped model that can implement real-time baseband signal processing and MAC protocols.
