The following is an example of a special thread gauge. ■Thread gauge for squareness inspection - A gauge that comprehensively determines the perpendicularity between the thread and end face of the workpiece. - When screwing the gauge into the workpiece, if the end face of the gauge is in close contact with the end face of the workpiece, the workpiece is good. ■Thread gauge for coaxiality inspection - A gauge that comprehensively determines the coaxiality of a workpiece thread and hole or shaft. - Coaxiality can be easily inspected without using difficult jigs. ・If the gauge can be inserted easily without interfering with the hole or shaft of the workpiece, the product is good. ■Adjustable screw ring gauge The feature is that the screw diameter can be adjusted. ・Advantage 1 Even if the screw ring gauge is worn out, it can be readjusted and used again. ・Advantage 2: Appropriate fit can be obtained with the fit inspection gauge. ・Disadvantage 1: Gauge dimensions may change due to strong force or impact, requiring periodic adjustment. ・Disadvantage 2: The roundness of the threaded part is not good, so it is prone to wear due to local contact. ■Thread plug gauge for length/depth inspection There are three types of gauges that determine the depth (effective length) of product female threads. ■Thread plug gauge with notch A notch is provided in the threaded part of the gauge, and if the end face of the workpiece is inside the notch, the test passes. ■Scale/grooved screw plug gauge A scale or groove is provided on the neck of the gauge, and the depth of the workpiece is determined by the scale or groove. ■Gauge handle for thread depth measurement Versatile depth measurement is possible by simply replacing the handle of a standard thread gauge. This gauge handle has a simple scale and can be set to any depth within the adjustable range. ■Gauge handle with coloring By attaching a colored ring to the handle and color-coding it, you can clearly identify the object to be used, the calibration period, the management department, etc.
