The BV-C8321 is a 3CMOS area scan camera that uses an in-house developed 3-spectrum prism for area sensors and a 1/2.9inch 1.58M global shutter CMOS sensor to capture images in the visible light range with high color reproducibility. It is also smaller and lighter than the previous model BV-C8320 (40% volume reduction, 20% weight reduction), and can capture video at up to 51 frames/second (FULL readout). In addition, it is equipped with VGA readout, and the maximum frame rate is 226fps. The lens mount is C mount, the interface is Camera Link, and GigE is also planned to be developed in due course. ■Product features ・Newly developed 1/3 type prism optical system ・1,440 (H) × 1,080 (V) pixels, pixel size 3.45μm, global shutter, equipped with 3 CMOS sensors ・Equipped with binning readout mode in addition to FULL readout (51fps) ・Small, lightweight, compact housing (40% volume reduction and 20% mass reduction compared to BV-C8320) ・Fine electronic shutter setting with variable unit of 1μs (10μs to “frame period -603μs”) ・Sensitivity increase from 0dB to 24dB ・Equipped with partial readout (ROI) function (VGA maximum 226fps with binning + partial readout) ・Flat shading correction, contour correction, LUT ・Internal synchronization and external trigger mode ・3 types of operation modes (No Shutter mode, Shutter Select mode, pulse width trigger) ・Camera Link base configuration (8 bit) and medium configuration (10/12 bit) ・Providing BV camera control tools
