The FZ Wedge Stage (FZ080) is a precision vertical translation stage with a wedge mechanism. The 80mm square stage utilizes precision crossed rollers for linear translation and is capable of vertical translation of 10mm. The wedge-shaped mechanism uses a high-precision optical position sensor to encode vertical displacement. Therefore, it can provide access from any direction.
