Model Description

■What is MUSCLEαⅡ (for research)? It has been developed for research purposes as it acquires dynamic impedance data on the time axis and at three frequencies and displays it graphically. For example, it may be possible to collect data on swallowing, chewing, etc. MUSCLEαⅡ (for research use) comes with various measurement modes. It is equipped with the following three modes. ■Body composition measurement This mode divides the whole body into 9 segments and measures skeletal muscle distribution. This measurement mode is the same as MUSCLEαⅡ (high-precision muscle mass meter). ■Data collection This mode makes it possible to collect high-level impedance information by adopting the latest measurement technology. In single frequency (50kHz, 250KHz) measurement, it achieves 10 times faster sampling than MUSCLE-α. Measurement using three multi-frequency waves (5kHz, 50kHz, 250kHz) is also possible. ■Intracellular and extracellular body fluid volume ratio (tentative version) This mode uses multi-frequency measurement technology to collect body fluid shift data such as intracellular and extracellular fluid volume ratios.
