The temperature display is independent, so you can check the setting status at a glance. ■Supports rework of chip parts By using two tips at the same time, it is possible to rework chip parts. ■Various standard tips More than 40 types of tips can be used in the series. *Soldering iron tip is sold separately. ■Easy to use iron part (PAT.) The tip can be replaced without tools even when the tip is hot. The iron part has a lightweight and heat-insulating structure and is excellent for long-time work. Slide the lever at the rear of the grip in the direction of the arrow to make the tip protrude. Pinch the protruding tip and pull it out. ■Temperature compensation when changing the tip Temperature compensation can be easily performed on the RX-822AS by entering the "tip number" engraved on the tip. When changing to a different type of tip, be sure to perform temperature compensation for each tip. The factory default setting is 1. Please check the instruction manual for how to enter the tip number.
