■Temperature rise characteristics The RX-812AS reaches the set temperature of 350°C in just 3.7 seconds from power on and reaches 450°C in 4.9 seconds, the fastest temperature rise in its class. ■Grip shape with excellent workability A new grip designed to fit the ultra-fine tip of φ2.9mm. The distance between the grip and tip is short, greatly increasing work efficiency. ■A wide variety of replacement tips In addition to the RX-81HRT series of tips dedicated to micro soldering, the 80W RX-80HRT tip series can also be used. All types have iron plating thickness that takes into account the corrosion of lead-free solder. *Soldering iron tip is sold separately. ■Tip exchange without tools (PAT.) The newly designed slide system allows you to replace the iron tip while it is still hot. Easy to work with. How to replace the iron tip Slide the lever at the rear of the grip in the direction of the arrow, and the iron tip will protrude. Pinch the protruding tip and pull it out. ■Temperature compensation when changing the tip Temperature compensation can be easily performed on the RX-812AS by entering the "tip number" engraved on the tip. When changing to a different type of tip, be sure to perform temperature compensation for each tip. Please check the instruction manual for how to enter the tip number.
