SUSPA's lockable gas struts ensure precise locking of all types of flaps and kinematic systems, providing a convenient opening and closing method. Thanks to diverse release systems and a wide range of connecting elements, lockable gas struts support individual applications. If springback is not desired, for example for safety reasons, a rigid lock is used in the direction of tension. For light applications where very high force loads are applied after locking, but compression is not allowed, locks that are rigid in the push direction are recommended. ■Advantages ・Balanced weight correction by adjusting or locking flaps ・Extensive lineup of gas springs with rigid locks - Rigid lockable gas spring can be installed in any orientation. ■Model VOB 18-1 Due to the arrangement of the oil chamber and the valve at the end of the tube, the lock in the push direction is rigid up to the mechanical load limit, independent of the filling force. The special two-tube construction provides an extra short construction. This allows applications where rigid locking in the push direction is required, regardless of force, despite extremely tight installation spaces.
