SUSPA's lockable gas struts ensure precise locking of all types of flaps and kinematic systems, providing a convenient opening and closing method. Thanks to diverse release systems and a wide range of connecting elements, lockable gas struts support individual applications. If springback is not desired, for example for safety reasons, a rigid lock is used in the direction of tension. For light applications where very high force loads are applied after locking, but compression is not allowed, locks that are rigid in the push direction are recommended. ■Advantages ・Balanced weight correction by adjusting or locking flaps ・Extensive lineup of gas springs with rigid locks - Rigid lockable gas spring can be installed in any orientation. ■Model HY6 Due to the arrangement of the oil chamber, the lock in the pushing direction is rigid up to the load limit of the machine, regardless of the filling force. The special two-tube construction results in an exceptionally low force increase over long strokes. This allows applications that require an extremely long scroll in a short structure, yet require a rigid lock in the push direction, regardless of force.
