The element (polyurethane elastomer) uses a hardness of 97 JIS A, and the shape is a tight fit structure designed to be pre-compressed, allowing use with no backlash. With its high torque, it can be used in a wide range of applications, from simple servos to general-purpose motors. Features ■Optimal design using 3D-CAD and FEM analysis We use the latest CAE system from the beginning of the design stage. The model was designed using 3D-CAD. The shape and strength design was optimized using the latest FEM (finite element method) analysis software. ■Optimized design of element shape reduces high transmission torque and installation error reaction force By improving the shape of the torque transmission part and carefully selecting materials, we have achieved a high transmission torque that is more than twice the outer diameter ratio of conventional jaw couplings. In addition, by creating an undercut on the inner diameter side to reduce the reaction force due to installation errors, we have achieved a coupling that is gentle on the mating shaft while having no backlash. ■Free combination possible The hub can be freely selected from three types: a pre-drilled type, a key/set screw type, and a clamp type. Furthermore, it is also possible to combine the key/set screw type and the clamp type.
